Quaint Dame
is an online shop that satisfies your tiny cravings.

Every one of us has a soft spot for food, in particular desserts and pastries - anything and everything sweet to satisfy our sweet tooth. This is what inspires me at Quaint Dame. From macarons to cupcakes to chocolates, I want to make these pretty and dainty desserts a part of you, add a smile to your face or even start a deliciously quaint conversation with a friend or stranger.

Whether you are looking for birthday presents for the young ones, a gift for your friends or just to give yourself a 'treat', there is something sweet for everyone here.

The pieces that you see on this website are entirely hand-made using polymer clay, meaning that each you have an exclusive and unique piece of jewellery when you make a purchase here.

I do hope you enjoy browsing and shopping at Quaint Dame as much as I enjoy making these little desserts for you.

About Me
I am Yvonne from a sunny island called Singapore. I have been making polymer clay food for 4 years now. University years have been busy and they pulled me away from this for a while. But I'm glad I have not lost my creativity and love for this.

I started off this hobby with a casual purchase of a box of air-dry clay. It got me meddling with it and getting my hands dirty with the clay and colours. My family too, got involved and we started to experiment with piping tips, cutters and just bouncing ideas off one another.
My sister gave me the idea of making sugar biscuits. And boy oh boy, that was one of my first creations which propelled me into this business. The sugar biscuits look just like the real gems that I used togobble up as a kid.

I was inspired to make more clay food and to make them as realistic as possible. I would say I have come a long way to making the beautiful pieces that you see today. Whenever someone asks if they are real or faux, it puts a smile on my face and I know I have done well. I have been inspired by many other clay artists and greatly motivated by the fans and comments that I get on my deviantArt page.

I love doing this and I hope you like what you see. Thank you for appreciating my work.
